Simulation of AOM THz pulse shaping system
Supervised by Prof. Zhensheng Tao
Jun 2022 – Sep 2022 Fudan University
  • Developed a matrix method for Fresnel diffraction with higher accuracy, which can be used to simulate near-field geometric optics.
  • Developed a simulation platform for AOM (acousto-optic modulators) pulse shaping system with arbitrary geometric setup.

Femtosecond laser pulse compression using solitary modes in nonlinear multi-pass cell
Supervised by Prof. Zhensheng Tao
Aug 2021 – Present Fudan University
  • Used the moified Fox-Li iteration algorithm to find the eigenmodes of nonliear multi-pass cell with Kerr media.
  • Performed the NLSE simulation to verify the stability of the eigenmodes, i.e., the formation of soliton and its stability.
  • Currently building the experimental setup.

Solid state high-order sideband harmonic generation
Supervised by Prof. Zhensheng Tao
Apr 2021 – Present Fudan University
  • Studied the SFA (strong-field approximation) theory.
  • Helped with data measurement and data analysis.

Blind FROG (Frequency Resolved Optical Gating) Algorithm
Supervised by Prof. Zhensheng Tao
May 2021 – Aug 2021 Fudan University
  • Implemented the Principle Component Generalized Projection Algorithm (PCGPA) and Ptychographic algorithm for Blind FROG.
  • Introduced ramdom numbers to optimize the PCGPA Algotithm so that it’s suitable for Blind FROG problems.
